STOPSHOP: Supportive Tactics for Overcoming Problematic SHOPping habits

Trending strategies, especially in the digital sphere, are having a greater and more impact on today's youth, exacerbating bad consumption behaviors.
Social media influencers, tailored advertising, personalized recommendations, etc. has resulted in a continual bombardment of messages encouraging materialism and consumption in youth.
The main aim of the project is to provide youth communities capacities to identify, prevent and control these consumption behaviors.

We will implement different activities where we will create a learning platform with different learning resources. This platform will be relevant for any person who is at risk or involved in bad consumption habits, as well as for those who need to prevent it.
With the platform, we will provide tools in important aspects such as identifying psychological triggers that cause these habits; personal finance; trending techniques used to involve youngsters in needless purchasing, etc.
Youth and other communities who have access to the platform will gain knowledge, awareness and self-control by having
useful coping techniques, helping them to control impulsive purchases and buy in a responsible way with a control of their
finances. In addition, the project will encourage an atmosphere that will create a feeling of community, giving participants the confidence and determination they need to start their healthy path.
