The way youngsters interact has changed dramatically due to the digital revolution. Constant messages distort perceptions
of love, sex, bodies, desire and identity. Boundaries become more blurred as digital platforms promote unrealistic expectations that lead to confusion, STIs, low self-esteem, negative behaviors, lack of commitment, prejudice, etc. This is damaging youngsters’ relationships, mental health and sexuality.
Our objective is to address this situation through the
HARMONY Platform.
We will carry out a variety of dynamic activities for the development of the HARMONY Platform that effectively addresses this pressing issue. This platform will be composed by different learning resources in topics such as sexual health, diversity, mental health, assertive sexuality, healthy relationships, etc.
It will provide knowledge and awareness in the normalized
digital factors that are affecting youngsters’ sexuality.
Through this project, we will become pioneers of a platform that will empower youngsters to address the digital factors that are affecting their sexuality. They will enhance their mental health and confidence damaged by these factors, becoming able to develop a healthy and safe sexuality. They will also be confident to establish healthy relationships and will acquire skills for having positive interactions (online and offline).
The Harmony Platform is under construction expecting to be released in this year
